I have never been drunk, but I really understand the idea of a success hangover. You probably understand this topic as well. Have you ever had a great week, with lots of accomplishments and successes, only to find that you feel like crap by the weekend. You hit a proverbial wall. You are frustrated, anxious, and just overall done with where you're at. You're sure that it's all a fluke and you're worried someone might find you out?

This is a success hangover.

You have a success set point in life. When you start growing changing or experiencing new things, your brain doesn't like it. It likes what it's used to. So it doubles down on the negative self talk to try to keep you from expending more energy. IT doesn't want you to be responsible for your results. It wants to keep you small.

But what I want to show you is that success hangovers means you're doing it. Success hangover, is a good thing. It means you're growing. So instead of thinking this is something that is wrong, if we can notice them for what they are, you can move through them and keep going.
